  • 1/3 c
  • 1/2 c
    light corn syrup (karo is the best brand)
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c
    light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 c
    sweetened condensed milk -not evaporated
  • 1/4 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make Microwave Caramels


  1. Line a 8x8-inch dish with foil and butter or spray it real well.
  2. Put all ingredients in a microwave safe bowl. Mix just to combine. Microwave for 6 minutes. Stirring after every minute. Pour into the prepared dish. Smooth and Cool at room temperature.Then cut to size you like. Wrap in waxed paper. You can use a larger dish if you wish the caramels to to be not too thick.
