OMG are these good or what!!! This recipe came from Chef Rameaux from Louisiana and mine turns out perfect everytime.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup canned milk (or 1% works)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 3/4 stick real butter, salted
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
How To Make bea's louisiana pralines

Step 1Place all ingredients in a heavy skillet & bring to "soft ball" stage (238-240 degrees), stirring constantly.

Step 2Remove from heat & stir until mixture thickens, becoming cloudy & creamy and the pecans stay suspended in mixture.

Step 3Spoon out onto waxed paper or aluminum foil. Yield: approx 2 doz, depending on size.
