These are so good and so easy. They are colorful. I make these into mini balls. But most of the time I just spread them on a jelly roll buttered pan and break or cut them up to serve.

Ingredients

  • 3 qt
    popped popcorn
  • 1/2 c
    yogurt covered raisins
  • 1/2 c
    chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c
    honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 c
    cut up spice gumdrops (roll cut sides in a little sugar)
  • 1 c
    corn syrup, light
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch
    salt

How to Make Jingle Bell Popcorn Balls

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large bowl, combine popped corn, gumdrops,yogurt raisins, and nuts.
    In heavy saucepan, combine corn syrup, honey, vinegar and salt. Bring to boiling. Cook mixture over medium heat to hard-ball stage (260^).
    Add butter and vanilla, stirring till butter is melted.
    Pour over popcorn mixture, stirring to coat evenly.
    With buttered hands form into mini balls or stuff into buttered mini-muffin tins; or spread out in jelly roll pan -press down to compress.
