How to Make Haystacks

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix the first four ingredients together. Cook and stir over low heat until sugar disolves.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat to soft ball stage stirring constantly.
  3. Once at soft ball stage, remove from heat and add 3 cups of coconut and mix well. Drop by teaspoon full onto wax paper on a cookie sheet. Store in the fridge.
