easy dark chocolate nut fudge

This is a super-quick and easy recipe for some of the most delicious fudge you'll ever eat. It makes a great Christmas gift, too!

Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
  • 1 bag special dark semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz. or 2 cups)
  • 1 teaspoon real vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup pecan or walnut pieces

How To Make easy dark chocolate nut fudge

  • Sweetened condensed milk, dark chocolate chips, parchment paper and 8
    Step 1
    Spray an 8"x8" square pan with cooking oil spray (preferably butter-flavored), removing excess with paper towel; line with a parchment paper "sling" (for easy removal of set fudge;) spray sling with oil and wipe; set aside.
  • Spatula stirring chocolate chips melted in sweet condensed milk in bowl.
    Step 2
    In a microwave safe 2 quart bowl, heat chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in microwave, on high, for 1 minute. Remove from microwave; stir to combine (if needed, heat up to an additional 30 seconds.) Stir until chips are completely melted and chocolate is smooth.
  • Adding teaspoon of vanilla to melted chocolate.
    Step 3
    Stir in vanilla extract and nuts. Pour fudge into prepared pan. Place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours before cutting.
  • Cooled fudge on parchment paper sling on counter.
    Step 4
    When ready to slice, use a knife to loosen any fudge that is touching bare pan. Use sling to lift fudge from pan; place on flat surface; cut into one inch squares.
  • Step 5
    Store in an airtight container. No refrigeration required.
