This is quick way to make a snack cake covered with chocolate coconut frosting.

Ingredients

  • CAKE:
  • 1 1/2 cups bisquick
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cream , milk, or water
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips melted and cooled
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract
  • 1 large egg
  • FROSTING:
  • 3 1/2 ounces can flaked coconut
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar,packed
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, soft
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons milk

How To Make velvet fudge cake by bisquick

  • Step 1
    Cake: Blend all ingredients in a large mixing bowl on low speed for 1/2 minute, scraping bowl frequently. Beat 4 minutes on medium speed. Pour batter into greased and floured 8-inch square pan. Bake at 350^ for 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool and frost.
  • Step 2
    Frosting: Mix all ingredients together in small saucepan. Stir to combine ,and well melted. Spread on warm cake.
