I got this recipe from a co-worker that brought them in for a potluck. I fell in love at first bite and now my family loves them too. Tastes just like a cheesecake but much easier to make.

Ingredients For sopapilla cheesecake

  • 2 pkg
    crescent rolls
  • 3 pkg
    cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar

How To Make sopapilla cheesecake

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place one package of crescent rolls flat on bottom of sprayed 9x13 pan.

    Mix cream cheese, 1 1/2 cup sugar, and vanilla. Spread evenly onto crescent layer.

    Top with 2nd package of crescent rolls. (flatten and press together at seams to avoid gapping in crust, before adding to the top). Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

    Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool completely.
