ripen bananas in 1 hour
So you find a recipe here or just need over ripened bananas in a hurry and no time to wait for them in a brown paper bag... Works wonderful. This doesn’t work with completely green bananas – they do need to be at least mostly ripe to get the desired results. But since they are usually close to ripe when you buy them, this saves a few days of waiting! Works like the magic.... =)

How To Make ripen bananas in 1 hour
-
Step 1Spread your bananas (with the peels on) onto a dish made for the oven and pop them in the oven at 300 degrees for an hour. Really that’s all it takes.
-
Step 2They will come out looking very black. But don’t worry, on the inside they are nice and soft and sweet. The heat from the oven will activate the sugars in the banana, simulating the ripening process.
-
Step 3You can stick them in the fridge for a few minutes until the bananas are cool enough to handle, and then peel them open and see, They will not be burnt at all! Just soft and ready to mash into whatever recipe you want to make.
