rich vanilla chip cake
This is a wonderfully easy rich and moist bundt cake. It is so full of flavor that no one has ever guessed it is so easy and starts with a cake mix. A friend of mine says she uses the recipe for a blueberry(leave out the chips) bundt cake and it is VERY good as well. I do believe this is/was originally a McCormicks recipe because I noticed the extract named as McCormicks...I wrote it down a long time ago and the vanilla butter glaze that goes on it on the same page in my recipe book. I hope you enjoy this as much as we have.

How To Make rich vanilla chip cake
-
Step 1Beat all ingredients, except chips, in large bowl with mixer on low just to moisten, Then beat on medium for 2 minutes.
-
Step 2Stir in chips. Pour into greased and floured 12 cup bundt pan.
-
Step 3Bake in 350* oven for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes then invert cake onto wire rack to cool completely.
-
Step 4I have topped this with many different glazes...the easiest is a prepared tub icing heated and drizzled over the cake or just sprinkle with confectioners sugar....BUT my favorite is a Vanilla butter glaze which I will post also.
