2 largeeggs, well beaten
2 cflour, unbleached
3 tspbaking powder
1 cmilk, whole
1/2 tsplemon juice
1/2 tsppure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cfresh chopped peaches
How to Make PEACH FRITTERS
- Cream the butter and sugar, add the eggs and beat thoroughly.
- Sift dry ingredients together and add the milk slowly.
- Fold in peaches, lemon juice and vanilla.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot fat.
Fry golden brown.
Serve with whipped cream or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
