3 pkgcream cheese
15 ozcontainer sour cream
1/2 csugar for sour cream mixture
1 Tbspvanilla extract
How to Make New York Cheesecake
- Soften cream cheese to room temp. Add sugar 1 cup. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating on med speed until, well blended and cream cheese mixture is smooth.
- Grease a springform pan,with cooking spray and a little flour. Pour batter into pan. Place in 350 degree oven for about 40 minutes. When light brown remove from oven and mix the 1/2 cup of sugar with the sour cream. Place on top of cake and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Remove from oven let cool.Refrigerate for about 3 hours or overnight.
- May serve with topping of choice or plain. I use different fruit toppings
