1 csifted confectioner's sugar (icing sugar)
1 1/2 Tbsplemon juice
1/2 tsplemon rind, grated
How to Make Lemon Glaze for cakes
- Heat milk and butter together. Measure sugar into a bowl, add hot liquid, and stir until smooth.
- Then add the lemon juice and rind. Pour over cake, letting it run down the sides.
- Yield: makes enough for glaze to cover a 9 inch or 10 inch tube cake.
I like this especially well on Angel Food cake.
