Every Sunday we would go to Grandma Mary's house for some pasta and treats. We never knew what we would get until we arrived. The one thing we did know was that it "had" to be homemade because it came from Grandma's kitchen. We would all get especially excited when she would take out this Ice Box Cake from the refrigerator, or as she would call it (Ice Box). What little kid or even big kid wouldn't enjoy the creaminess of chocolate and vanilla pudding layered between graham cracker crust? I wish Grandma was here so I can tell her how much she had inspired me to cook over the years.
1Layer small, glass baking dish with graham crackers. You will layer complete bottom and sides. Reserve some crackers, crushed for topping.
2Prepare and cook vanilla pudding according to instructions on box. (Tip) You might want to wash pan before making your chocolate pudding due to milk scorching.
3Pour cooking vanilla pudding on top of graham crackers laid out in baking dish. Spread one cup of sliced banana into vanilla pudding (optional). Repeat instructions for chocolate pudding adding crushed graham cracker to top.
