  • 2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    grated lemon rind
  • 1/3 c
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1
    egg beaten
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make grandma delleplain lemon cake filling

    Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt very thoroughly, add remaining ingredents and blend.

    Cook over boiling water stirring constantly until thickened. let cool and fill a two layer cake.
