Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar,lightly packed
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats,uncooked
- 3/4 cup butter, room temperature not too soft though
- 3/4 cup jam-raspberry or plum or cooked dates
How To Make english matrimonials

Step 1Mix together flour,sugar and rolled oats. Work in butter until mixture is crumbly. Press 1/2 of the mixture evenly in an 8-inch square pan. Spread with jam to within 1/4-inch of edges. Press remaining mixture over jam, covering it completely. Bake in 325^ for 40-45 minutes, until golden brown. Cool and cut in squares.
