This is a simple cake and with the cream cheese frosting it is a hit with my family. I guess I like it too because it is not too sweet.

Ingredients For donna's banana cake

  • 1 1/2 c
    splenda
  • 1/3 c
    oil vegetable
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    milk, low-fat
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • pinch
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 2
    ripe bananas
  • CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
  • 3 oz
    cream cheese
  • 5 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp
    milk
  • 2 c
    powdered sugar

How To Make donna's banana cake

  • 1
    mix sugar and oil, add egg, mix together. add milk and mix.

    add flour, baking powder, baking soda. mix. salt, vanilla and mashed bananas. Mix a minimum of 300 strokes.

    Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

    FROSTING: Beat all ingredients until smooth. Frost cool cake and enjoy.
