delicious vanilla & cream cheese cupcakes
I enjoy just a plain cupcake. This has great flavors and is not overly sweet. Just delicious!

Ingredients
- CUPCAKES
- 1 box cake mix (white or vanilla)
- 2/3 cup butter
- 1 cup milk
- 5 eggs
- FROSTING
- 1/4 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 8oz packages cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
How To Make delicious vanilla & cream cheese cupcakes

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2To make the cupcakes, place the cake mix in a mixing bowl.

Step 3Melt the butter in the microwave and mix it into the cake batter.

Step 4Add the milk to the mixture, whisking well.

Step 5Add each egg, one at a time, whisking well after each addition.

Step 6Prepare your cupcake pans with cupcake papers. This makes 24, so you may have to do it in batches.

Step 7Fill each cup 2/3 full.

Step 8Bake for 19-24 minutes. Cool.

Step 9To make the frosting, beat the butter and cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth. Slowly add the vanilla and the confectioners' sugar, blending until creamy.

Step 10Once cupcakes are cooled, you can frost them. I added sprinkles to some of mine.

Step 11The frosting would also be great with some lemon zest or you could add some food coloring so they have a little pizzaz! The possibilities are endless!
