This is a great cake to make for "Father's Day" It's quick and easy and very moist. the frosting is easy and simple. Enjoy with a nice big scoop of vanilla ice cream and spoonful of crushed strawberries!
1Heat oven to 350^. Spray a bundt cake pan with non-stick butter spray. Set aside.
2In a large mixer bowl add the cake mix, melted butter,dry pudding mix, and sour cream, mix well for about 2 minutes..Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each addition. Add rum, and vanilla beat for about 2 minutes.
3Hand stir in the chocolate chips and pecans., blend well.
Pour mixture into prepared bundt pan and bake for about 50 minutes-test with wooden toothpick for doneness. Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes; then remove from pan to cool completely.
4When cake is cooled. Heat the frosting in the microwave for 3 to 5 seconds, until spreadable. Spread or drizzle over top of cake and let drizzle down sides of cake. Decorate top with pecans if desired. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a heaping spoonful of crushed fresh strawberries.
