Butterscotch Apple Bar/Cake
Using a cake mix to start, then adding butterscotch pudding , apples ,nuts and chips this cake will be the hit for any brunch or dinner.s happy ending!

- yellow cake mix
- 3 oz
- pkg. instant butterscotch pudding
- 2 medium
- 1 1/3 c
- milk or water
- 2 Tbsp
- granulated sugar
- 2 c
- peeled. thinly sliced cooking apples
- 1/2 tsp
- 1/3 c
- butterscotch chips
- 1/3 c
- chopped walnuts
How to Make Butterscotch Apple Bar/Cake
- 1Preheat oven to 350^. Grease and flour a 15x10-inch jelly roll baking pan for bar-like or 9x13 for cake like. Bake the same..checking for doneness.
In a large bowl blend cake mix, dry pudding mix, eggs and milk or water until moistened- then beat for 2 minutes on medium speed.
Pour into prepared pan.
Combine apples, sugar and cinnamon- sprinkle on top of batter. Sprinkle chips and nuts over all.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick tests out clean.
