Ingredients
- CAKE:
- 18 ounces yellow cake mix
- 3 ounces pkg. instant butterscotch pudding
- 2 medium eggs
- 1 1/3 cups milk or water
- TOPPING:
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 cups peeled. thinly sliced cooking apples
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/3 cup butterscotch chips
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
How To Make butterscotch apple bar/cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350^. Grease and flour a 15x10-inch jelly roll baking pan for bar-like or 9x13 for cake like. Bake the same..checking for doneness. In a large bowl blend cake mix, dry pudding mix, eggs and milk or water until moistened- then beat for 2 minutes on medium speed. Pour into prepared pan. Combine apples, sugar and cinnamon- sprinkle on top of batter. Sprinkle chips and nuts over all. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick tests out clean.
