I got this recipe off the dLife website sounds great to me so thought I'd share it. I have subsituted the SUGAR FREE cake mix instead of a regular cake mix which they used in their recipe. I saved about 40 calories/serving, and saved about 14g of carbs per serving, using the SUGAR FREE cake mix ...that's quite a difference! (Also, those watching their cholesterol intake might use this recipe...there's no oil or eggs!) ***You can always use the yellow SUGAR-FREE cake mix instead of chocolate and subsitute diet sprite or diet 7-up or diet orange crush. Top with a fruit or berry combo ***

Ingredients

1 box devil's food sugar-free cake mix (16 oz.) (available in pillsbury brand)
11oz - diet soda (i.e.: diet coke, coke zero with vanilla or cherry, diet root beer, diet dr. pepper, diet pepsi, etc.

How To Make amazing diet soda cake

Step 1

SPRAY: 9x13" pan with nonstick cooking spray (BAKERS' JOY) PREHEAT: Oven to 325 degrees F. NOTE: Carbination will make cake batter expand. MIX: cake mix and diet drink of choice in large mixing bowl using spatula until well blended. TRANSFER: Cake batter into prepared pan and bake according to directions on box.(About 34-38 minutes) COOL: On cooling rack until completely cool. TOP: With dollop of whipped topping or dust with powdered sugar before serving. Cover with cake cover to keep cake moist and refrigerate leftovers is recommended.) SERVES: about 12 servings...
