Alabama Cream Cheese Pound Cake
2 sticksalted butter,room temperature
1 stickmargerine - ( i use imperial brand) other spreads just do not work as well!
8oz pkgcream cheese, room temperature
6eggs - one at a time
3 call purpose flour
1 Tbspvanilla extract
How to Make Alabama Cream Cheese Pound Cake
- Preheat oven to 300
Cream butter,margerine and cream cheese ... mix until a pretty creamy yellow color
- mix adding sugar ... then mix @ low speed adding one egg at a time
- mix @ low speed adding flour 1 cup at a time,mix just until well blended ... stir in vanilla
- pour into greased and floured Bundt or Angel Food pan -or- 2 maybe 3 loaf pans ... depending on pan size ... if you do use loaf pans adjust baking time.
- Bake @ 300 about 1 hr. 15 mins
