Ham, Egg & Cheese Chaffle

There as so many waffle variations both savory and sweet. You can even use the waffles as a substitute for bread. You can make them ahead, freeze them and then heat them in the toaster. This recipe is low carb and great for the Keto Diet.

Ingredients

  •   1 large
    egg
  •   1/2 c
    cheese, shredded
  •   1 slice
    ham, chopped
  •  
    non-stick ooking spray

How To Make

    Plug in mini waffle maker to heat.
  • 2
    Crack the egg into a small bowl and whisk with a fork. Add the cheese, chopped ham and stir to combine.

    Spray the waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Pour half the egg mixture into the heated waffle iron and cook for about 3 minutes or until lightly brown.
  • 4
    Remove waffle carefully and place on a cooling rack. Cook the second waffle.
