Adapted from the The Allergy Self Help Cookbook by Marjorie Hurt Jones, RN. Changes include types of flour used and substitution of milk kefir for milk. A nice filling pancake recipe that will satisfy any appetite.

teff flour
1/2 c
buckwheat flour
1/2 c
bob's red mill 1 to 1 all purpose gluten free flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
cream of tartar
1/4 tsp
1 1/2 c
whole milk kefir
3 Tbsp
vegetable oil
1 tsp
maple syrup

How to Make Gluten Free Whole Grain Pancakes


  • 1Preheat nonstick skillet or griddle.
  • 2Mix dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
  • 3In a 2 cup measure, mix wet ingredients.
  • 4Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined. Do not beat or overmix.
  • 5Drop onto preheated skillet and cook.
