Makes 24 bars
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup firmly picked brown sugar
- 1/4 cup powdered milk
- 1/4 cup wheat germ
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups raisins or dried apricots
- 1/2 cup unsalted sunflower seeds
- 2 - eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
How To Make power bars

Step 1In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, powder milk, wheat germ, and baking powder. Stir in raisins and sunflower seeds.

Step 2Combine eggs, oil, moleasses,and peanut butter

Step 3Add to dry ingredients, blending well.

Step 4Spread in greased 9 inch cake pan.

Step 5Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes or until browned and firm to the touch.

Step 6Let cool completely.

Step 7Cut into 24 bars.

Step 8Bars can be stored in an air tight container for up to 5 days.
