- 6 tablespoons amaretto liqueur
- 4 - eggs well beaten
- 1/2 can milk
- 12 slices white or wheat bread, mabe french bread
- AMARETTO BUTTER
- 2 tablespoons amaretto liqueur
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- AMARETTO SYRUP
- 1/4 cup amaretto liqueur
- 1 cup maple syrup
How To Make amaretto french toast

Step 1In a shallow bowl mix all ingredients except bread.

Step 2Soak bread in mixture

Step 3In a large skillet,some butter

Step 4Drain bread.

Step 5Cook in butter on both sides until golden brown

Step 6Serve immediately with amaretto butter and syrup

Step 7NOTE: For a change try Irish Cream instead of Amaretto

Step 8FOR AMARETTO BUTTER: Combine butter and amaretto liqueur. Mix well refrigerate.

Step 9FOR AMARETTO SYRUP: In a small saucepan, combine amaretto liqueur and maple syrup. Heat to boiling. Allow to cool before serving.
