amaretto liqueur

eggs well beaten
1/2 can(s)
milk
12 slice
white or wheat bread, mabe french bread

AMARETTO BUTTER

2 Tbsp
amaretto liqueur
1/2 c
butter softened

AMARETTO SYRUP

1/4 c
amaretto liqueur
1 c
maple syrup

How to Make AMARETTO FRENCH TOAST

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a shallow bowl mix all ingredients except bread.
  • 2Soak bread in mixture
  • 3In a large skillet,some butter
  • 4Drain bread.
  • 5Cook in butter on both sides until golden brown
  • 6Serve immediately with amaretto butter and syrup
  • 7NOTE: For a change try Irish Cream instead of Amaretto
  • 8FOR AMARETTO BUTTER: Combine butter and amaretto liqueur. Mix well refrigerate.
  • 9FOR AMARETTO SYRUP: In a small saucepan, combine amaretto liqueur and maple syrup. Heat to boiling. Allow to cool before serving.
