Want a treat for a special occasion. Make this Amaretto French Toast, it will amaze your guests. This recipe is for ( Time after Time ) breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons amaretto liqueur
  • 4 - eggs well beaten
  • 1/2 can milk
  • 12 slices white or wheat bread, mabe french bread
  • AMARETTO BUTTER
  • 2 tablespoons amaretto liqueur
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • AMARETTO SYRUP
  • 1/4 cup amaretto liqueur
  • 1 cup maple syrup

How To Make amaretto french toast

  • Step 1
    In a shallow bowl mix all ingredients except bread.
  • Step 2
    Soak bread in mixture
  • Step 3
    In a large skillet,some butter
  • Step 4
    Drain bread.
  • Step 5
    Cook in butter on both sides until golden brown
  • Step 6
    Serve immediately with amaretto butter and syrup
  • Step 7
    NOTE: For a change try Irish Cream instead of Amaretto
  • Step 8
    FOR AMARETTO BUTTER: Combine butter and amaretto liqueur. Mix well refrigerate.
  • Step 9
    FOR AMARETTO SYRUP: In a small saucepan, combine amaretto liqueur and maple syrup. Heat to boiling. Allow to cool before serving.
