Ingredients
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1/3 cup oat bran found in the natural food aisle, or natural food store
- 1 tablespoon packed light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup fat-free milk
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 2 - egg whites
- 1 teaspoon orange peel or zest
- 1/2 cup sugar free maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon orange peel
How To Make orange-flavored oat bran pancakes

Step 1In bowl, stir together flour, oat bran, brown sugar, 1 tsp orange peel and baking powder. Stir in milk and oil until combined.

Step 2In another bowl, beat egg whites w/ mixer until stiff peaks form. Fold egg whites into batter. Spray a lg skillet w/ cooking spray. Place over medium heat.

Step 3Spoon 1/4 cup batter into skillet. Cook until bubbly, flip over and cook until lightly browned. Repeat w/ batter. In microwaveable bowl, microwave syrup and orange peel, stirring until warmed. Serve warmes syrup w/ pancakes.
