Fun Food Fact: Do you spell it Omelet or Omelette??? Actually both the correct way to spell the word. The former being the American spelling and the latter being the British spelling.

Ingredients

  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 2 Tbsp
    diced ham
  • 2 Tbsp
    finely diced green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    finely diced onion
  • 2 Tbsp
    finely diced mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp
    finely diced tomato
  • 2 Tbsp
    shredded cheese (whatever kind you like)
  • ·
    butter flavored cooking spray
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh chopped parsley

How to Make Denver Omelet

Step-by-Step

  1. Spray pan lightly with butter flavor cooking spray and heat over medium heat. Sautee ham and veggies to desired level of doneness. Set aside.
  2. Salt eggs to taste , and beat them until light and yellow.
  3. Spray small skillet with butter flavor cooking spray. Heat over medium Heat. Add eggs cook until just done.
  4. Add veggies and cheese to 1/2 of egg, and fold the other half over the top.
  5. Remove omelet from pan to plate. Sprinkle with fresh parsley, serve!
