Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 - pepper
- 3 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small pieces
- 3/4 cup shredded extra sharp chedder cheese
- 3/4 cup finely chopped ham
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs

How To Make ham and cheese scones

Step 1Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and pepper in a large bowl; cut in butter with two knives until mixture resembles coarse meal. stir in cheese and ham. Combine buttermilk and eggs, stirring with a whisk. Add to flour mixture. stirring just until moist.

Step 2turn dough out on lightly floured surface, knead lightly about 4 or 5 times with floured hands. Pat dough into 8-inch circle on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Cut dough into 8 wedges, cutting into but not through the dough. bake at 400f or until lightly browned. serve
