grandma's filled coffee cake
Grandma McGlade would make her filled coffee cake for Sunday brunch and holidays.I was eleven the summer after my mother died and Grandma taught me a great deal about taking care of a house and cooking and baking. She gave me all her recipes. Today I make this every holiday and always remember my Grandma McGlade, a strong Irish women with a heart of gold. Now I'm the grandma.I hope you will enjoy this simple coffee cake with your family and friends as much as my family has over the years.
