Creamy Microwave Oatmeal

Trust me you want a large bowl and to stir. It over flowed the first time I made this, lost half my breakfast.

I like the oatmeal without the sweeteners and milk.

Ingredients

1/2 c
water
1/2 c
milk, soya milk or coconut milk
1/8 tsp
salt
2 Tbsp
raisins, dried cranberries or chopped prunes
1 tsp
wheat bran
1/2 c
quick-cooking rolled oats
1/4 tsp
ground cinnamon

Step-By-Step

1Combine the water, milk, salt, fruit and bran in a large microwave bowl. Microwave for 2 minutes.
2Stir in oatmeal and cinnamon. Microwave on high 3 to 4 minutes. Stir at 1 minute intervals. Cover and let sit for 1 minute.
3You can add brown sugar, coconut sugar or pure maple syrup and milk, if desired.
4This recipe can be multiplied to increase servings. Increase the cooking time as necessary.
