I made these pancakes a little healthier than my original recipe, but they taste just as yummy! Kids love these:-) Calories: 230 for 2 pancakes Fat: 8 grams Carbs: 6 grams

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup white whole wheat flour
  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make homemade banana-chocolate chip pancakes

  • Step 1
    In bowl, whisk together flour, chocolate chips, baking powder, baking soda. In another bowl, whisk together egg, buttermilk, banana, oil, sugar and vanilla.
  • Step 2
    Make a well in dry ingredients, add wet ingredients to well, mix until just combined. Let sit 10 mins, or until bubbly.
  • Step 3
    Spray a lg skillet w/ cooking spray, place over medium heat. Place 1/4 cup batter in skillet, cook until bubbles form, then flip over. Cook another 2 mins, repeat w/ batter.
