I made these pancakes a little healthier than my original recipe, but they taste just as yummy! Kids love these:-) Calories: 230 for 2 pancakes

    white whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 c
    white whole wheat flour
  • 1/3 c
    mini chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 large
  • 1 c
  • 1/2 c
  • 2 large
    ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 tsp

How to Make Homemade banana-chocolate chip pancakes


  1. In bowl, whisk together flour, chocolate chips, baking powder, baking soda. In another bowl, whisk together egg, buttermilk, banana, oil, sugar and vanilla.
  2. Make a well in dry ingredients, add wet ingredients to well, mix until just combined. Let sit 10 mins, or until bubbly.
  3. Spray a lg skillet w/ cooking spray, place over medium heat. Place 1/4 cup batter in skillet, cook until bubbles form, then flip over. Cook another 2 mins, repeat w/ batter.
