Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 slices white or whole grain bread
- 1 large apple, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 or 2 teaspoons cinnamon
How To Make apple toast breakfast

Step 1Spread butter on one side of each bread slice, divide apple slices among them, then sprinkle each with some cinnamon.

Step 2Place bread slices on a baking sheet and broil about 2 minutes (watch carefully). Drizzle on a little honey or maple syrup before baking to add some sweetness.

Step 3NOTE: May substitute peanut butter for the butter, if preferred.
