Ingredients

12 slice
whole wheat bread
1 lb
thinly sliced deli ham, i used maple flavored
2 c
reduced-fat, shredded cheddar cheese
6
eggs
3 c
1% milk
1 tsp
dry mustard
1 tsp
onion powder
1/2 tsp
each, salt and pepper
1/2 stick
melted butter
2 c
crushed cornflakes

How to Make Healthy layered breakfast bake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 13" baking dish w/ cooking spray. Line baking dish w/ 6 slices of bread. Layer bread w/ 1/2 the ham. Sprinkle w/ 1 cup cheese. Repeat layers.
  • 2In lg bowl, beat eggs, milk, dry mustard, onion powder, salt and pepper. Pour over bread mix. In another bowl, combine melted butter and cornflakes. Sprinkle over casserole.
  • 3Bake for 50 mins.
