tangy cranberry orange bread
This bread is insanely flavorful with an intense orange flavor. You'd never guess this to have almost no fat, carbs or cholesterol! A loaf of this in our house barely comes out of the oven before it's gone. You can substitute raisins or dates for the cranberries, but we like the tang of the cranberries.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 1 - egg
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon fresh orange zest
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups dried cranberries
How To Make tangy cranberry orange bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x5 in loaf pan.

Step 2Combine applesauce, Orange juice, egg, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl; blend with mixer until smooth. Stir in zest.

Step 3Add flour, baking powder and baking soda and mix until ingredients are blended. Fold in cranberries.

Step 4Pour batter into loaf pan. Bake 45-50 minutes, until toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
