This bread does not required yeast. It is sweet. I love it on sandwiches or with cream cheese. The hubs likes it with sweet cream butter. Either way you serve it, you will really impress your palate.

Sometimes the most unlikely ingredients can combine to create the most wonderful of flavors! This is one of the happy times. This bread smells so wonderful while baking, and tasted even better when it done. A terrific blending of sweet and salty!.

Ingredients

  • DRY INGREDIENTS
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 cup ultragrain flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon sweet basil
  • WET INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups navy beans, boiled
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 - eggs
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons dark molasses
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped

How To Make navy bean sweet bread

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, add all dry ingredients. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a second bowl, place all wet ingredients. Beat for 3 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Then add wet to dry. Mix well.
  • Step 4
    Pour into two bread pans sprayed with Baker's Joy.
  • Step 5
    Place into an oven of 350F for 40 minutes or until a piece of uncooked spaghetti comes out clean.
