Great for gift giving with a little honey butter or homemade jam.

Ingredients

  • 3 c
    bisquick
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1/3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 large
    egg
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 1/2 c
    chopped nuts

How to Make Little Loaves for Gift Baskets

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine baking mix, sugar,flour,egg and milk; beat the heck out of it for 1/2 a minute. Stir in nuts.
    Pour batter into 6-well greased or sprayed miniature loaf pans. 4x2 inches.
    Bake in a 350^ oven for 35 minutes or until tested clean. Remove from pans.
    Cool thoroughly before slicing.
  2. For the little breads:
    Pour batter int 5 well sprayed 10 oz. soup cans or 8 sprayed 6 oz. aluminum juice cans. Bake soup cans for about 40 minutes, and juice cans about 35 minutes.These are cute. Removed from cans and wrapped in plastic wrap tied with a ribbon.
    These cans will work with you bread or sweet bread recipes too- like banana nut or cranberry....
