kitty's favorite banana bread
This is the recipe I have been using for years. I don't have a great photo of it because I don't think it has lasted long enough for me to get one with more than just crumbs on a plate! Be sure to use bananas that are beginning to turn black

Ingredients
- 1 - 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 - 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 - egg
- 1 cup mashed bananas (3 medium)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
How To Make kitty's favorite banana bread

Step 1Grease the bottom and 1/2 inch up the sides of an 8x4x2 inch loaf pan and set aside

Step 2In a medium mixing bowl combine all the dry ingredients i.e. flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt

Step 3Make a well in the center of the dry mixture and set aside

Step 4In another bowl combine bananas, egg, sugar, and cooking oil. Add this mixture all at once to the dry mixture

Step 5Stir just till moistened. Batter will be lumpy

Step 6Gently fold in walnuts

Step 7Spoon batter into baking pan

Step 8Bake at 350 degrees for 50 - 55 minutes. When done sides will pull away slightly... test with toothpick

Step 9Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes

Step 10Wrap and store over night before slicing (If you can wait that long!)
