This recipe sounds too good to be true but it turned out to be delicious. Now I want to try different ice cream flavors. Recipe came from Facebook, I think. 09-07-15

Ingredients
- 2 cups ice cream, any flavor
- 1½ cups self-rising flour
How To Make ice cream bread

Step 1Set the ice cream out to get soft enough to stir together with flour in a large bowl.

Step 2Add other bits and pieces if you like: chocolate chips, nuts, coconut, not more than 1/3 cup or so.

Step 3Spread batter into an 8-inch greased and floured loaf pan and bake in a preheated 350º oven for 40-45 minutes.

Step 4Stick with a toothpick to test for doneness. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Serve with or without butter or other spread. Yummy!

Step 5I did add about 1½ Tablespoons sugar to give it some sweetness. It turned out perfectly.
