I do love the rich color of Blood Orange. I feel like it has almost a floral taste to it. The molasses and fig make for a rich heartiness. And, the anise seeds leave a pleasant essence.
I am planning an Olive Parmesan Rosemary Loaf next.

How to Make Fig-BloodOrange-AniseSeed Bread for Bread Machine
- In a greased bread machine pan, put liquid, dry ingredients, then leavener in that stratified order.
- Program bread machine to Basic Bake with Light Crust Setting.
- Then soak figs in tepid water. When bread machine prompts with the beeps, strain and add to mix. You may also need to scrape down sides with a rubber spatula during the beeps.
- Allow to bake and enjoy.
