You can also use other breads like an oat bread but make sure the bread is firm so that it will hold the honey and not fall apart when placing the slices in the baking dish~

Ingredients

  • BREAD INGREDIANTS
  • 10 slices white bread (firm)
  • 2 cups honey (1 lb.)
  • TOPPING
  • - heavy cream

How To Make egyptian palace bread

  • Step 1
    Prepare oven to 300*F degrees. Lightly grease baking dish. With a knife remove the crust from each slice of bread, then soak bread in honey for 30 minutes.
  • Step 2
    With a spatula take each slice of bread stacking them on top of each other evenly throughout baking dish. Bake 45 minutes at 300*F. Let cool in refrigerator completely.
  • Step 3
    Once cooled completely cut into slices and serve with Heavy Cream. ***Some have found to serve this slightly warm and still tastes delicious... It's fast and easy to make***
