Ingredients

2 call purpose flour
-
1 cdates, chopped - dried and pitted
-
1/2 corange juice
-
1 tspvanilla extract
-
1 tspbaking powder
-
1 tspcinnamon, ground
-
1/2 tspbaking soda
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
2/3 cpecans, chopped
-
2 Tbspbutter, softened
-
2/3 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 mediumorange, zest of
-
1 largeegg
-
·cooking spray & 1 tbsp of flour (for pan)
How to Make Date Nut Loaf
- Pour 2 cups of water into pot. Place rack into pot and place loaf pan on rack. Set OVEN to 350 degrees and bake for 35 minutes. Cover and cook for amount of time or until a toothpick inserted in center of pan comes out clean.
Remove pan from pot and let cool on rack for 5 minutes and then remove loaf from pan and cool completely.
