Ingredients

  • 2 slice
    thick, dense bread
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 1/8 c
    heavy cream (i used half n half)
  • 2 c
    cap'n crunch cereal (crushed but leave some whole pieces too)
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • ·
    powdered sugar
  • ·
    maple syrup

How to Make CAP'N CRUNCH FRENCH TOAST

Step-by-Step

  1. POUR 2 CUPS (OR MORE) IN GALLON SIZED PLASTIC BAG N CRUSH ....LEAVE SOME PIECES WHOLE...THEN POUR IN PIE PLATE.
  2. IN ANOTHER PIE PLATE MIX 2 EGGS, VANILLA, N CREAM.
  3. DIP BREAD INTO EGG MIXTURE (DO NOT SATURATE)....THEN PRESS INTO CRUSHD CEREAL.
  4. MELT BUTTER ONE TBLSPN AT A TIME IN LARGE PAN ( I USED MY ELECTRIC SKILLET).
  5. ON MED/HIGH HEAT CARMELIZE EACH SIDE ABOUT 3-5 min.....ADD OTHER TBLSPN OF BUTTER WEN DOING OTHER SIDE.
  6. SPRINKLE WITH CONF. SUGAR N DRIZZLE ON MAPLE SYRUP.......ENJOY :)
