This is a favorite treat as an alternative to sugary snacks. My mom used to make this for the family and now I make them for my family.

  • 2 large
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar (natural is best)
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp

How to Make Banana Fritters


  1. In a small bowl, mash the bananas.
  2. Add all ingredients and mix together.
  3. In a small frying pan, heat oil over low heat. Drop small spoonfuls of batter into the pan and fry until golden brown. Makes 4 servings, depending on the size of each spoonful of batter.
