This is a favorite treat as an alternative to sugary snacks. My mom used to make this for the family and now I make them for my family.

Ingredients

  • 2 large bananas
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar (natural is best)
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon water

How To Make banana fritters

  • Step 1
    In a small bowl, mash the bananas.
  • Step 2
    Add all ingredients and mix together.
  • Step 3
    In a small frying pan, heat oil over low heat. Drop small spoonfuls of batter into the pan and fry until golden brown. Makes 4 servings, depending on the size of each spoonful of batter.
