How to Make Extra Moist Corny Bread
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spray an 8 or 9 in square baking dish with cooking spray. (or grease the dish)
- Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder and sugar in a large bowl. Mix well.
- Add applesauce, milk, egg and corn. Mix until all ingredients are well blended.
- Heat baking dish empty in oven for 5 minutes then remove and pour batter into dish. Bake 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
