candi's white sandwich loaf

I just finished this recipe, I also just finished a piece of it and it is wonderful :0)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 - egg yolk
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

How To Make candi's white sandwich loaf

  • Step 1
    Heat milk to warm (steam barely rises from it) Mix it well with egg yolk and oil. Desolve yeast in liquid. add all dry ingredients (salt last) mix till dough forms. (I had to add a dribble of water here to dough this recipe up)
  • Step 2
    Cover with plastic wrap for 12 hours in warm place.(This does NOT have to rise this long, but I do so many breads I let them rise all night sometimes, I just run out of time!!) Put dough on floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, place in greased bread pan, cover with a clean kitchen towel and let rise another hourish. (till doubled in size) Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. let rest 10 minutes before slicing! Enjoy.
