This is an excellent nutty-flavored bread that works in so many diverse ways. Use it for sandwiches, or just toasted with some jam and butter. Do not let the “gluten-free” throw you for a loop. This bread is awesome in its taste, texture, and mouth feel. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

    almond flour
  • 1/3 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 1/3 c
    pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 c
    chia seeds
  • 3 Tbsp
    flax seeds
  • 1/3 c
    almonds
  • 2 Tbsp
    coconut flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 3 lg
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    almond milk
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh clover honey
  • 1 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt, kosher variety

How To Make bread essentials: nutty flavored toasty bread

    PREP/PREPARE

    Gather your Ingredients (mise en place).

    Place a rack in the middle position, and preheat the oven to 350f (175c).
  • 4
    Add the pumpkin seeds, walnuts, flax, chia seeds, and almonds to a food processor, fitted with an S-blade. Then use 1-second pulses until the ingredients are ground and uniform.

    Add the almond flour, coconut flour, baking soda, and mix to combine.

    Add the eggs, almond milk, olive oil, honey, vinegar and salt, and mix, using 1-second pulses, until thoroughly combined.

    Place some parchment paper into a standard loaf pan.

    Add the mixture, and top with some additional pumpkin seeds.

    Place in the preheated oven, and bake until the bread is golden brown, about 40 – 45 minutes.

    Chef's Tip: To tell if the bread is cooked through, stick a toothpick into the center... It should come out clean.
