Ingredients

3 pkgrapid rise yeast
-
DISOLVE YEAST IN 1/4 C WARM WATER WITH 1/4 TSP. SUGAR
-
1 ccanola oil
-
3 cmilk (1 can of evaporated milk =12 oz + 12 oz of water to equal 3 cups)
-
6eggs
-
1 tspsalt
-
3/4 csugar
-
8-10 cflour
How to Make Twisted Bread
- Mix all ingredients in the order listed above in a large mixing bowl. I have a large crock bowl that I love to use.
- Once all mixed, dump out on a floured board and knead to add the remaining amounts of flour needed to obtain a non sticky dough. The dough should be kneaded until it feels springy and when you knead this dough you will hear a cracking sound. When you hear this you've worked enough air into the dough.
