southern cornbread
Old old recipe . I've tried many this was hands down the favorite of the family. Yes it has a splash of sugar but it is not sweet . it only cuts out that bitter taste ya get with some corn meal. The bacon drippings. Make the crust so much crisper and gives it that extra umph in flavor . you can use corn or veg oil if ya don't do the bacon This is a great one to use for cornbread dressing
