Ingredients
- - 1 cup flour, white
- - 3/4 cup cornmeal
- - 3 tbsp sugar, white
- - 1 tsp baking soda
- - 1 tsp baking powder
- - 1 tsp cream of tarter
- - 1 tsp salt
- - 1 large egg, beaten
- - 2 tbsp butter, melted
- - 1 cup sour cream, thick
- - 1/4 cup milk
- - soft butter & jam (for serving)
How To Make sour cream cornbread

Step 1Preheat oven to 400º F

Step 2Grease a 9x5-inch bread pan with butter and set aside until needed.

Step 3Add flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt in a bowl and mix well.

Step 4Now add the egg, sour cream, milk and butter mixing until just combined.

Step 5Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake 30 - 35 minutes.

Step 6Cool on wire rack.

Step 7Enjoy, sliced with butter and or jam.
