Robbie's Mom taught him how to make this recipe among many others, when he was 12 years old. The kids and I love it, and so does everyone else who has ever tried it. I hope your family enjoys it as well as all of ours! :)

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups self-rising buttermilk corn meal
- 1 1/2 cups self rising flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 - eggs
- 3 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for preheating skillet
How To Make robbie's homemade corn bread

Step 1Preheat the oven to 375 degrees, with the iron skillet with 2 spoons of oil in it. Make sure to preheat the skillet with the oven before cooking.

Step 2Mix all ingredients in a bowl while oven and skillet are preheating.

Step 3Add all ingredients to skillet and place in oven. Cook until cornbread gets tan to brown on top. This make take 30 minutes to 45 minutes to cook.
